On The Border is proudly launching its third year of Fiesta For The Cure – our fundraiser to benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure®.
For more than 25 years, Susan G. Komen for the Cure has played a critical role in every major advance in the fight against breast cancer, and has helped to turn millions of breast cancer patients into breast cancer survivors.
The daunting reality is that a woman dies from breast cancer every 68 seconds somewhere in the world. That’s someone’s mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, or daughter – could even be someone close to you!
On The Border is committed to helping eradicate this devastating disease. Through our Fiesta For The Cure fundraising activities, On The Border has made a commitment to donate a minimum of $250,000 to Susan G. Komen for the Cure annually. Worldwide, funds raised will help:
* fund community-based breast health programs and research
* educate women on importance of early detection and breast cancer screening
* fund ground-breaking research
* supplement medical costs for breast cancer victims
